Reporter: Experts warn that marine ecosystems are being threatened by a growing accumulation of plastic waste. Scientist: Yes, and it's getting worse every year. A recent report suggests that by 2050 there could be more plastic than fish in the ocean by weight, which would be catastrophic for marine life. Reporter: Scientist: For example, nearly every seabird species studied has been found with plastic fragments in its stomach. Reporter: So we can say plastic pollution is having a direct impact on wildlife already.
Neden?
