Nathan: Do you enjoy reading historical fiction that explores wartime experiences? Ivy: Nathan: Yeah, they give real insight into how ordinary people lived through extraordinary circumstances. Ivy: It's remarkable how fiction can help us understand present-day conflicts by exploring those of the past.
AHonestly, I always find it hard to fairly judge novels centred on war and its consequences.
BI think authors may focus on wartime experiences to instil a stronger sense of empathy in readers.
CDefinitely! Such novels reveal a lot about resilience and the human cost of conflict.Doğru cevap
DAbsolutely! But I wonder whether modern historical fiction still tackles these themes as effectively.
EWell, I'd say most of those novels focus more on romance than on the realities of war.
Neden?
Boşluktan sonra Nathan 'Yeah, they give real insight...' diyerek onaylar ve olumlu bir yorum ekler. Bu yüzden boşluk, bu romanlara açık bir övgü olmalıdır. 'I always find it hard to fairly judge' ve 'most of those novels focus more on romance' seçenekleri olumsuzdur; kuşku ekleyen seçenek ise Nathan'ın yanıtsız bıraktığı bir soru getirir.
