History can be recorded from many different vantage points. A 20th-century American writing after the Second World War is likely to hold very different concerns from a Song-dynasty Chinese court official, or a 14th-century Venetian merchant. Moreover, interpreting historical facts is rarely straightforward, and historians frequently disagree about how one event relates to another. The account of the fall of Constantinople given by the Byzantine historian Doukas differs sharply from that of his Ottoman contemporary, Tursun Beg, writing from the opposing side.

AWe can never directly experience the past, we can never truly know what it felt like to sail with a 15th-century trading fleet.
BHistory is an incomplete mosaic, pieced together from whatever fragments of evidence happen to survive.
CNames given to historical eras may not have been used at the time, but now serve to organise the past into manageable periods.
DThroughout recorded history, we find recurring evidence of conflicting interpretations of the same events.Doğru cevap
EHistorians ask not only what happened, but also why it happened and what its consequences were.

Neden?
