This is the archive ____ most of the correspondence from the period is now stored.

Question

This is the archive ---- most of the correspondence from the period is now stored.

Accepted Answer

in which — İlgi cümlesinde 'the correspondence is stored in the archive' anlamı vardır; yer bildiren bu ilişki 'in which' ya da 'where' ile kurulur. Tek başına 'which' edatsız kaldığı için cümle eksik olur. 'What' ise ilgi zamiri olarak bir isimden sonra kullanılmaz.
